About this scheme

The Trademark Reimbursement Scheme, administered by the Goa Startup Mission, provides financial relief to startups based in Goa by covering part of the expenses incurred in registering their company name and logo as trademarks. Eligibility is restricted to startups that have moved into the production or service delivery stage and have already finished the trademark registration process. How to apply

Ensure the startup holds a valid certificate from SITPC, along with the corresponding startup certificate number. Verify that the trademark has been registered successfully. Compile the necessary paperwork: proof of address for the operational office in Goa, a cancelled cheque from the startup, the company logo design, the trademark certificate, a copy of the trademark application form with its attachments, company bills or invoices, and evidence of payment. Send the application and the supporting documents via the Apply URL provided. SITPC will assess submissions at its own discretion and according to its guidelines; the final decision on reimbursement approval lies exclusively with SITPC.

How applications are assessed

The Startup IT Promotion Cell (SITPC) examines each application against its own criteria, and the decision to approve or decline rests entirely with the cell. Acceptance is not guaranteed, and the scheme’s benefits are provided at SITPC’s sole discretion, with no applicant having a claim to them as a matter of right.
