To apply for the Rental Assistance programme, you must complete the following steps through the official 'Startup Jharkhand' portal, which acts as the single access point for all state-supported startup schemes:

- Submit your application via the Startup Jharkhand portal. This online system handles submissions, lets you monitor the progress of your application, and provides access to relevant information. - Attach a valid lease agreement for your office premises. This document must confirm a formal rental contract, show that the location falls within an approved zone (STPI, SEZ, or IT Park), and establish your startup as the named lessee. The agreement must be legally enforceable and specify the monthly rent. - Provide rent receipts or other acceptable evidence of payment. You will need to supply these regularly—either monthly or quarterly, as per the programme's operating rules—to support reimbursement requests. The documents must indicate the sum paid and the period it covers. - Give your official bank account details for receiving reimbursements. This allows approved amounts to be transferred electronically and securely to your startup's account. Ensure your banking information is correct and current to prevent processing delays.

Applications are submitted via the Startup Jharkhand portal, accompanied by a lease agreement, a DPIIT certificate, and rent payment receipts. Each application is checked against the eligibility requirements set out in the Jharkhand Startup Policy. Once approved, a startup becomes eligible for monthly rental reimbursement covering the relevant support period.
