About this scheme
Under the Sustainable Industrial Policy Ladakh 2022-27, an industrial unit can recover 35% of its expenditure — capped at Rs. 5 lakh — when it installs in-house testing facilities and equipment, or secures quality certifications.
The scheme extends to new units as well as existing ones, regardless of whether they have undertaken substantial expansion. Disbursal, however, is conditional: the unit must have actually secured a national or international quality mark, whether GMP, ISO, BIS, FPO, BEE, AGMARK, ECOMARK, ZED Rating or GHP.
Spending on machinery or equipment that feeds directly into manufacturing or service delivery does not qualify. Reimbursement is confined to testing and certification costs.

How to apply
1. Establish the testing facility or equipment in-house, or finish the certification procedure. 2. Secure the National or International quality mark certificate. 3. File the claim, together with invoices and the certificate, with the Department of Industries and Commerce, UT of Ladakh.
