About this scheme
The Sustainable Industrial Policy Ladakh 2022-27 reimburses half of what a local producer spends to exhibit at national and international fashion shows, trade fairs, exhibitions and buyer-seller meets, helping them reach buyers directly. An enterprise taking part for the first time may claim 50% of the cost, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 2 lakh.
Industrial units — new or existing, whether or not they have undertaken substantial expansion — are eligible, as are registered cooperatives and FPOs engaged in handicraft, handloom, agro and food processing, and aromatic or medicinal plants.
Admissible expenses are confined to the registration fee and space rental charges. Travel, freight and staffing costs do not qualify for reimbursement.

Eligibility conditions:
- The unit must be an industrial unit located in Ladakh, whether new or existing, and irrespective of whether it has undertaken substantial expansion. - Registered cooperatives and FPOs also qualify. - The unit must operate in one of these sectors: handicraft, handloom, agro & food processing, or aromatic/medicinal plants. - The unit must take part in a national or international fashion show, trade fair, exhibition or buyer-seller meet. - The claim may cover only the registration fee and space rental charges. - This tier applies only to the enterprise's 1st participation.

1. Take part in a trade fair, exhibition or buyer-seller meet that qualifies under the scheme, whether held in India or abroad. 2. Keep records of the registration fee paid and the amount spent on renting space. 3. File the reimbursement claim with the Department of Industries and Commerce, UT of Ladakh.
