About this scheme
Under Clause 3.4.1.iii of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024, Large Industrial Units may claim the State Capital Investment Incentive, calculated at 30% of qualifying capital outlay.
What qualifies as capital outlay depends on the type of unit. Manufacturing units count the cost of plant and machinery. Units in the services sector count the construction of building and the installation of other durable physical assets.
The incentive is capped at Rs 15 crore for Priority Sector Units and Rs 12 crore for units in the non-Priority sector.
