The Invest Meghalaya Authority is the investment promotion body of the Government of Meghalaya. It runs the state's online window for industrial registration, incentives and clearances. Through this portal, businesses file an Intent to Invest, register their unit, apply for approvals and track the status of their applications. An Information Wizard helps users identify the correct route for their case.
Enterprises can seek support under the Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme (UNNATI), 2024 and the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024. Applications are made under these schemes, and claims are subsequently filed against them. Sixteen priority sectors are named by the authority, including Hotels & Hospitality, IT & ITeS, Food Processing and startups.
