About this scheme
Under Clause 3.4.7.iii.a of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024, Micro and Small Units can claim a subsidy covering half of their Power Service Connection Charges. Internal wiring costs fall outside the scope of this support. The payout is capped at Rs 2 lakhs.
This benefit operates alongside a distinct provision: units that draw an 11 KV or higher power line to their premises can obtain a full 100% reimbursement for that work.
