About this scheme
Under Clause 3.4.6.i.a of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024, micro and small units can claim 50% of what they spend on installing a Rainwater Harvesting System at their premises. The payout is capped at Rs 2 lakhs.
The policy bundles this support with other water-conservation measures. These include incentives for wastewater recycling, reimbursement of water audit costs, and assistance for zero-discharge facilities.
