About this scheme
Under the Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025, a unit can recover 50% of what it actually spends on power lines and transformers. The reimbursement is capped at Rs 5 lakh per unit.

How to apply
1. Finish the power line and transformer works for the unit, and keep the contractor bills along with the utility charges on record. 2. Submit the claim to the Department of Commerce & Industries, Government of Mizoram, within one year of starting production. 3. Enclose the Udyam/MSME registration and documentary proof of the date on which production commenced. 4. Furnish the electricity department's work order or demand note as supporting evidence.
How applications are assessed
The department checks the expenditure records submitted for the power line and transformers. Once verification is complete, it disburses 50% of the amount, subject to the per-unit ceiling.
