About this scheme

Under the IPR component of the MSME Innovative Scheme, an Udyam-registered MSME may receive full reimbursement—up to Rs 1 lakh—for the actual expenses incurred while registering an Indian patent. The covered costs span facilitation charges, all government levies, design and drawing fees, attorney and consultancy charges, prior art search and analysis, drafting of provisional and complete specifications, prosecution and hearing costs, and examination and publication fees.

To avail of this benefit, claims must be accompanied by original invoices, bills, and receipts as supporting documentation.
