About this scheme

Under the IPR component of the MSME Innovative Scheme, an Udyam-registered MSME may receive full reimbursement of the actual expenses incurred for trademark registration. The claim is capped at Rs 10,000 per registered trademark, regardless of how many classes are covered.

Reimbursable costs span facilitation fees, all government levies, attorney charges, consultancy expenses, search fees, application drafting, prosecution and hearing costs, examination fees, charges for international or foreign trademark filings, and other related incidental outlays. These must be substantiated with original invoices and receipts.
