About this scheme
Export Promotion Councils, Commodity Boards, Export Development Authorities and comparable federations provide access to buyer delegations, trade fairs and assistance with export documentation. Each of these bodies, however, levies a membership or entry fee.
Through the competitiveness interventions of the National SC-ST Hub, a micro or small enterprise owned by an SC/ST entrepreneur may claim reimbursement of 80% of such a fee, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 20,000, whichever is lower. GST and other applicable taxes are excluded from this amount, and the claim is limited to one per financial year.
The reimbursement applies to annual membership subscription fees, one-time subscription charges, and entry fees levied by these organisations.
