About this scheme
The Special Marketing Assistance Scheme (SMAS), run under the National SC-ST Hub, arranges travel for SC/ST-owned enterprises to international exhibitions, trade fairs, and seminars held overseas.
This component fixes the maximum financial support available: Rs. 1.50 lakh per enterprise for each event. That ceiling represents the upper boundary of what the scheme will disburse for a single visit, covering airfare and other eligible expenses within that limit.
The cap is calculated on a per-event basis. Consequently, an enterprise participating in multiple qualifying events is evaluated against the ceiling separately for each occasion.
