About this scheme

The Industrial Infrastructure Development Fund, part of Telangana's incentives guidelines, supports enterprises located outside industrial estates. Such businesses typically bear the expense of constructing their own approach road, power line, and water connection. The fund reimburses 50% of this infrastructure cost, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 1 crore.

Eligibility criteria are intentionally restrictive. For the general category, only new medium standalone enterprises qualify. However, entrepreneurs from SC, ST, and PwD backgrounds may apply as new micro, small, or medium standalone enterprises. The project site must be situated more than 10 km (aerial distance) from any existing industrial estate, IDA, or industrial park that still has vacant land or sheds available for allotment. Additionally, the eligible infrastructure cost cannot exceed 15% of the fixed capital investment made in the industry.

Why does the 10 km rule exist?
