About this scheme
Telangana's MSME Policy 2024 offers cost-sharing to enterprises that invest in training their own staff. Under this provision, a micro, small or medium enterprise incurring expenditure on skill upgradation and training of local manpower is eligible to claim reimbursement of 50% of that cost, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 2,000 per person.
The benefit applies once per person trained. Only local manpower is eligible, since the incentive seeks to encourage MSMEs in Telangana to recruit and upgrade skills locally instead of bringing in workers who are already trained.
