About this scheme
Telangana’s MSME Policy 2024 directs its most substantial capital assistance towards promoters from SC, ST and PwD categories. A micro or small manufacturing unit established by an entrepreneur from these groups is eligible for an investment subsidy of 50% on fixed capital investment, capped at Rs. 100 lakh per unit.
When the promoter in this category is also a woman, an additional investment subsidy of 20% applies, subject to a limit of Rs. 20 lakh. This raises the maximum possible subsidy to Rs. 120 lakh per unit. The subsidy covers plant and machinery along with other qualifying fixed capital, thereby reducing the equity contribution that a first-generation manufacturer must arrange.
