About this scheme
Telangana’s MSME Policy 2024 provides an additional capital subsidy when the business promoter is a woman. A micro or small enterprise founded by a woman entrepreneur receives an extra 20% investment subsidy on eligible fixed capital investment, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 20 lakh.
This benefit is layered over the standard 25% investment subsidy (capped at Rs. 30 lakh) specified under Para 2.1.6 of the same guidelines. Consequently, the combined maximum investment subsidy for a woman entrepreneur reaches Rs. 50 lakh. This provision applies to the general category; separate, more favourable rates cover SC, ST and PwD women entrepreneurs.
