- **Application Submission:** MSME units already operating in Uttar Pradesh need to submit their application via the portal or department notified under the Uttar Pradesh MSME Promotion Policy 2022. Details of the equipment purchased, along with the recommendation report from the environmental auditor, must form part of the application. - **Document Submission:** The papers generally required are proof of MSME registration, equipment purchase invoices, the environmental auditor's report, and bank details for receiving the reimbursement. - **Verification Process:** State authorities concerned will scrutinise the application and the accompanying documents in full to confirm eligibility and adherence to the policy's guidelines. - **Reimbursement Disbursement:** Once verification and approval are completed successfully, the reimbursement amount due is paid straight into the bank account of the MSME unit.

Applications are reviewed by a committee constituted under the Uttar Pradesh Department of MSME. The committee checks that the documents submitted are complete and accurate, with particular attention to the environmental auditor's recommendation and the invoices for the equipment purchased.

Approval rests on two things: meeting the eligibility conditions without exception, and the auditor's certification that the environmental equipment is genuinely needed. Applicants who are selected are informed once the committee has decided, and the reimbursement is then set in motion.
